Aevique provides biomarker testing and clinician interpretation as a wellness and longevity service. It is not a diagnostic service for serious disease. It does not replace your GP, your hospital care, or emergency services. Decisions about diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing primary care remain with your treating doctor.
If you experience any of the following, do not wait for Aevique results — seek urgent care immediately:
Call 999 for emergencies. Call NHS 111 for non-emergency NHS advice. In Scotland, call 111.
Aevique clinicians review your results in the context of the panel and the information you have provided. They may recommend follow-up with your GP, a specialist, or another clinical pathway. Aevique does not provide ongoing primary care, prescribing for acute illness, or out-of-hours emergency cover.
All blood, saliva, urine, and stool tests are time-point measurements and are subject to inherent limits. Reference ranges vary with age, sex, cycle, time of day, fasting status, and recent illness. False positives and false negatives are possible on every test. Single results should be interpreted in clinical context — which is why every Aevique panel is reviewed by a GMC-registered clinician before publication.
The genetic tests on the Aevique menu (APOE, MTHFR, ApoE Genotype, Lipoprotein(a), Telomere Length) provide risk and lifestyle information. They do not diagnose disease. High-impact genetic findings — for example APOE ε4/ε4 homozygosity — may warrant referral to a clinical genetics service or genetic counsellor for full counselling. [REVIEW: confirm referral pathway with solicitor and clinical lead].
Beta hCG measurement is not a substitute for clinical pregnancy management. Several biomarkers are unreliable during pregnancy or while taking certain medications (including hormonal contraception, HRT, GLP-1 agonists, biotin supplements at high dose, and others). Always disclose pregnancy and current medications to your clinician at sign-up and before each panel. [REVIEW: list of restricted tests by clinical condition / medication].
Aevique does not promise specific health outcomes. The 90-day membership refund offer relates to the service experience and is not a clinical guarantee. Supplement recommendations are food supplements, not licensed medicines, and are not substitutes for prescribed treatment. Where a prescription pathway is offered (HRT, GLP-1, hCG), it is delivered through a separate clinical workup with appropriate consent.
The Aevique clinical service is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Concerns about clinical care can be raised with the CQC directly. [REVIEW: include the exact CQC complaints route and contact details].
We will notify users of material changes to this disclaimer via email and in-app notice. [REVIEW: notice period].
